|
What this means for the Parties:
If the Examiner’s Order was to Suspend the domain name, the relevant Registries will
immediately cause the domain name(s) to stop resolving; the domain name(s) will point
to a URS-related page for the remaining period of registration. (See URS Procedure
Para. 10.2.) If Complainant chose the option (at filing) to extend the registration for an
additional year at commercial rates, Complainant must contact the Registry directly to
pay the renewal fee. (URS Proc. 10.3, URS Rule 14(b).) Failure to pay the fee within
30 days of the day of this letter will result the domain name's expiration at the end of the
current registration term. Complainant is responsible for contacting the Registrar to pay
the fee.
If the Examiner's Order was to Restore the Domain Name To the Respondent, the
relevant Registries will immediately restore the domain name(s) to Respondent (URS
Procedure Paras. 6.5, 9.3, and 10.5).
The losing party may Appeal this Determination pursuant to URS Procedure Para. 12
and URS Rule 18), or pursue other administrative or legal remedies, such as a Uniform
Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) complaint or litigation, as applicable.
(URS Procedure Para. 13.)
